Heavy rain set to batter Greater Manchester for second day

Several flood warnings remain in place for Greater Manchester with heavy rain set to batter the area again on Tuesday (01 October).
It comes after rivers burst their banks at collymore and local flooding was reported close to Wigan.
Buses are being diverted away from some roads in Middleton because of water on roads, according to service provider Stagecoach.
The bad weather caused chaos on roads on Monday night, with a lorry falling off a viaduct on the M6 near Warrington.
Dramatic vehicles showed the vehicle in the embankment, and the driver managed to escape without any life-threatening injuries.
11 flood warnings remained in place on Tuesday morning, mainly around Middleton and Cheetham Hill.
However, the Environment Agency said river levels are now falling, and the Met Office has lifted a yellow weather warning for rain.
