The Half Marathon routes makes its way up towards the Etihad Campus before returning to the city centre and joining the 10k route - which takes in the sights of Old Trafford and Salford Quays.

Travel advice
Car
Participants and spectators are being urged to plan travel and transport to the start line ahead of event day to ensure people arrive in good time.
Several roads within the city will be affected by the events and road closures and traffic diversion plans will be in operation on the day.
Roads in Trafford, around the Etihad Campus and Manchester City Centre will be temporarily closed to traffic as they become part of the course.
Roads will be closed and reopened at different times during the day, with the earliest and latest closures from 4am up until 11pm.
The closures will mean all traffic will need to use alternative routes and there could be congestion on these roads, especially roads near the marathon route.
Bus
A number of bus services will be diverted throughout the day due to the road closures in place for the event. You can find more information on the Transport for Greater Manchester website.
