Fourth person arrested after man stabbed in Salford car park

All four people arrested remain in police custody for questioning

Detectives investigating the stabbing of a man in a Salford car park have made a fourth arrest.

On Tuesday, 10 January 2023, at around 4:25pm, officers were called to an Aldi car park on Heywood Way.

A 62-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital receiving medical treatment.

All four people; a 42-year woman, a 20-year man and two 17-year-old boys have all been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and the attempted murder of the victim and remain in custody for further questioning.

Greater Manchester Police are continuing to urge the public to come forward if they believe they may have any information about the incident.
