Family Pay Tribute to Man Who Died While Out Running In Bolton

The family of a man who died in a collision while out running in Bolton, have paid tribute to him.

The family of a man who died in a collision while out running in Bolton, have paid tribute to him.

At around 6.50pm on Monday 8 March 2016, 54-year-old Tony Foster was running north east along Bolton Road towards the junction with Manchester Road. As he crossed the carriageway of Manchester Road, he was struck by a Kia Venga travelling south east and suffered a serious head injury. He was taken to hospital and he died on Thursday 11 March 2016.

Tony’s family said: “It’s with deep sadness that we announce the death of Tony our loving husband, father and Grandfather following him being involved in a collision on Tuesday. He will be sadly missed by all his family and close friends.”
