Emergency services called to Chorlton after crash with bus and tree

The fire service were called to Wilbraham Road at around 8am this morning, no serious injuries have been reported.

Emergency services were called to Chorlton, after a crash involving a bus and a tree.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and the Polcie say they were called to Wilbraham Road at around 8am this morning.

The police say there have been no serious injuries or arrests made.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 8am this morning one fire engine from Stretford fire station attended a crash involving a bus and a tree on Wilbraham Road, Chorlton.

"Firefighters have removed the roof from the bus and have assisted colleagues from Greater Manchester Police in making the scene safe. Crews remain in attendance.”
