Drugs Warning

A Manchester drugs expert's warning of a purer and much stronger batch of ecstasy tablets doing the rounds in the region from Europe.

There's a warning that ecstasy tablets coming in from Europe could be much stronger and purer than those already on the streets.

It comes after one man died and seven other people were treated in hospital after falling ill at the Kendal Calling Festival in Cumbria.

Tests are still being carried out on the pills which are thought to be MDMA.
