Hundreds are set to line the streets of Walkden to pay their respects to four children who died in a house fire - just weeks before Christmas last year.

Demi, Brandon, Lacie and Lia Pearson died and their mum Michelle was seriously injured in the blaze at their home on Jackson Street.

Michelle is still recovering in hospital, ten months on, and was planning to attend the funeral service.

Her family has confirmed on social media that due to "unforeseen medical circumstances" she won't be able to go to the children's funeral.
