Body found in search for missing Manchester woman
Rachel Jackson, 38, went missing in Preston on Friday
A body has been found in the search for a Manchester woman who went missing in Preston on Friday (31 March).
Rachel Jackson, 38, was last seen in the Wadham Road area of Avenham.
Lancashire Police found the body of a woman in Avenham Park earlier today (1 April).
The body has not been formally identified yet, but officers believe it is Rachel.
Her next of kin have been informed.
Lancashire Police said:
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to HM Coroner.
"Our thoughts are with Rachel's family and friends at this very sad and difficult time."
