Bacon and Sausages Carry Cancer Risk

Bacon, sausages and other processed meats are likely to be added to a list of cancer-causing foods.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A new report has been announced from the World Health Organisation which is expected to give guidance on the health risks associated with different meats.

It’s believed that the link between eating processed meats and cancer is as clear as the link between smoking and lung cancer but nowhere near as dangerous.

Scientists from 10 countries, including the UK, are thought to have made the decision after reviewing new evidence.

The report is expected to be released later on today.
