Three people injured in stabbing near Bury market

Three people have been taken to hospital following a triple stabbing near Bury market.

An air ambulance was seen landing in Murray Road on Monday afternoon, and a large police cordon was put in place.

No-one has been arrested, and it is thought the injuries sustained by those involved are not life-threatening.

In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "Greater Manchester Police are still responding to an incident on Murray Road, Bury.

"Officers remain at the scene to conduct further enquiries into what is believed to be a stabbing.

"The extent of the injuries sustained by three victims are thankfully not thought to be life-threatening.

"No arrests have been made at this time."
