18-year-old dies after Crumpsall crash

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an 18-year-old man died following a crash in Crumpsall.

Police were called to reports of a collision between a silver Skoda Octavia and a blue Seat Ibiza on Waterloo Street at around 10.15pm on Friday night (29th October).

The collision was between a Silver Skoda Octavia and Blue Seat Ibiza.

The 18-year old was driving the Seat and was taken to hospital after the incident but died yesterday (30th October).

Detective Sergeant Marie Eldred, of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a devastating incident in which a young man has sadly lost his life. My thoughts go out to his family at this awful time.

"To help us further establish what happened, we are requesting anyone with information or DashCam footage to call GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741, quoting incident number 3104 of 29/10/21."
