Christmas Survival Guide for Singles
Reasons to be cheerful this season.
Last updated 8th Nov 2018
Tis the season to be jolly, sadly not everyone feels this way without someone to share in the yuletide festivities. Whether you have relatives constantly asking why you’re still single or you’re sick of hugging a hot water bottle to stay warm at night, Christmas can feel like the loneliest time of the year. But that’s still no reason to dread the festive season, far from it in fact and we’re here to show you what’s so great about being single over Christmas.
1. Eat what YOU want
Why would anyone want to watch what they are eating at this time of the year? The temptation is too great to resist now that the boxes of Roses, Quality Streets and metre long Jaffa Cakes are on sale, so who wouldn’t enjoy guilt free gluttony?
2. Stress free
There’s lots to be upbeat about being single over Christmas, you don’t have the weeks of overthinking every purchase you make, and that’s not even getting into how much richer you’ll be by the 25th December!
3. No need to share Christmas
You also needn’t worry about making dull pleasantries with your partners 3rd cousin, twice removed who’s name no-one knows. Instead you can spend the whole festive period with your own family, albeit an unknown family member may still be round, but it’s different when it’s your family.
4. Do what YOU want
With so much to do and see over the coming weeks, from Christmas markets and work dos to Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve parties and you can enjoy them all whenever you want, whenever you want, where-ever you want!
That being said we also think now is a great time to look for Mr or Mrs Right, and we want to help you there too, at Flirtify we have 1000’s of members looking for their perfect match. Chat, share and get to know someone knew absolutely free and enjoy the best of both worlds with a stress free Christmas whilst enjoying the excitement of meeting new and interesting people.
