Forbes have announced the top 10 highest-paid TV actresses and as to be expected many actresses are from some of the most popular TV shows around, but not all.
This year's top 10 includes stars from NCIS, Grey's Anatomy and Netflix series House of Cards as well as Indian superstar, Priyanka Chopra, who appears at number 8 in the list.
Whilst The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco receives $1 million per episode; despite being nominated for various awards, House of Cards star Robin Wright has struggled for pay equality with her co-star Kevin Spacey, who gets half-a-million dollars per episode salary.

Colombian actress Sofia Vegara made a massive $41.5 million before taxes and fees in the past 12 months. This is mainly due to her role of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in Modern Family which she has been playing since 2009 accounting for around a quarter of her income.
According to Forbes she also gets around half of her income from various product endorsements including Head & Shoulders, Pepsi and CoverGirl. The rest is made up from her film roles and speaking engagements.
