The 13th series of The Apprentice is due to start next week and ahead of the new series details of the brand new candidates have been revealed.
The 18 candidates come from a variety of backgrounds from 'Tory Boy' Elliot Van Emden to 'slightly bonkers country girl' Elizabeth McKenna, and Jeff Wan, the business analyst who is also a semi-pro hip-hop dancer! It certainly sounds like Lord Sugar and his aides have their work cut out this year.
The start date of the new series was recently announced along with a tongue-in-cheek trailer in the style of La La Land, with contestants dancing to a song featuring the words 'you're fired'. Just as the trailer is about to finish Lord Sugar appears and calls an end to it all firing the producer.

This year The Apprentice will return on Wednesday 4th October, with Karren Brady and Claude Littner returning as Lord Sugar's aides. We can't wait to see how the candidates get on this year.

Anisa Topan
36-year-old Anisa, from Surrey, owns her own fashion PR consultancy.
She admits she can find it hard to listen and sometimes misses things when she is excited about an idea, but is good at 'winning' in business.

Jeff Wan
Jeff is 28-years-old and comes from London where he is a Business Analyst.
He says he has been a fan of The Apprentice since he was a teenager.

Bushra Shaikh
Bushra is the owner and designer of her own modest fashion label, creating luxury apparel for Muslim women.
The 34-year-old from Surrey says she is inspired by Coco Chanel and believes her skills and determination are all she needs to succeed in The Apprentice.
Elizabeth McKenna
Elizabeth describes herself as a 'slightly bonkers country girl'. She is 39-years-old, owns a florist chain and lives in Nottinghamshire.
Charles Burns
Charles is 24-years-old and comes from Manchester.
He has his fingers in many business pies, including a management consultancy, a watch trading company and a comparison website.
Andrew Brady
Andrew, is 24-years-old and lives in Cheshire where he is a project engineer in the aerospace industry.
Andrew believes that his confidence will see him go far in the process.
Danny Grant
32-year-old Danny is the owner of an online retail store.
He lives in Kent and believes his best quality is his loyalty, but warns he's not 'a doormat'.
James White
Owner of a recruitment firm, 26-year-old James says he considers his drive and ambition to be his best qualities.
Jade English
25-year-old Jade is a PR & Marketing Manager from Manchester, and says she thinks her greatest business skills are her creativity and passion.
Elliot Van Emden
Elliot is from London and owns a legal firm.
He has been nicknamed a 'Tory Boy' by his friends as he used to work in the office of David Cameron before he became Prime Minister.
Harrison Jones
Harrison started his own landscaping business when he was 19 and is currently working on a number of business ventures including property development.
He is now 27-years-old and works as a sales executive in Watford.
Sarah Lynn
Sarah created and leads a sweet gifting business in London.
She considers herself to be a 'people person', and believes her ability to sell is one of her greatest assets.
Sajan Shah
Sajan owns an event company in London and also works at a health and safety consultancy as the Head of HR.
He believes his greatest quality is his ability to read people, but does admit that sometimes he doesn't listen enough.
Michaela Wain
33-year-old Michaela mostly works on the day-to-day operations of a construction magazine, alongside her role at several other companies in the building sector.
Working as a woman in a very male-dominated industry, she says she despises men who talk down to her.
Ross Fretten
Ross is a Digital Product Consultant from Essex.
He plans to sit back and let people 'dig their own graves' before burying them in the boardroom.
Siobhan Smith
Siobhan owns and runs a wedding service company for couples in the UK who want to get married in Dubai.
She says her role model is Colonel Sanders, founder of KFC!

Last year's winner was Alana Spencer who owned her own cake company. Earlier this year Alana revealed to the Radio Times that things had been going well since the programme ended, and she was in regular contact with her new business partner.
The Apprentice will return for its 13th series on Wednesday 4th October.
