Katie Piper, Faye Tozer, Danny John-Jules, Joe Sugg, Vick Hope and Graeme Swann have already been confirmed for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, and adding to the line-up, it's now been confirmed that This Morning star Dr Ranj Singh will also appear on the show.

The news was announced on today's episode (Thursday 16th) by presenter Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford. Dr Ranj explained, “I definitely enjoy a good boogie when I’m out, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to pick up the moves! I’m really keen to get stuck in and start rehearsing.”

It comes after Ruth appeared on the popular dancing show back in 2017, finishing in eighth position with her professional partner Anton du Beke.

Although only seven of this year's famous faces have been announced by bosses, viewers of the show have expressed their disappointment at the line-up so far. Many fans took to Twitter saying how 'unimpressed' they were.

So far, TV personality Katie Piper, Steps singer Faye Tozer, Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules, YouTuber Joe Sugg, Radio DJ Vick Hope and former England cricketer Graeme Swann have all been announced.

Speaking about her involvement in the show, Faye said, "Being on Strictly is literally a dream come true! It’s everything my 9 year old self ever wanted from showbiz and I’m going to relish every moment!”

Katie Piper then added, “I feel so privileged and excited to be part of my favourite show on TV,” she said. “I already know how much of an amazing experience it will be for me and I can’t wait to show my girls some of my new dance moves!”
