Former Emmerdale actor and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Adam Thomas has today addressed the rumours that he's set to return to the popular soap.

With rumours swirling about Adam's potential return to the show, which helped make his name, the actor appeared on Lorraine today (Thursday 25th October) where he spoke to stand-in host and fellow I'm A Celebrity campmate Carol Vorderman.

When Carol said, "And the rumours that you're going back to Emmerdale", a shocked Adam said, "Are there?", before going on to say, "No, I'm not going back to Emmerdale, well not yet anyway."

During the interview, Adam also revealed that entering the jungle made him realise he wanted to leave Emmerdale. He said, "As soon as I got back I’d realised I was done with Emmerdale. I told my boss, “I’m done now I’ve made up my mind.”’

😢😢😢

Adam first joined the cast of Emmerdale in 2009, and he was certainly involved in his fair share of dramatic story lines. The actor then made the decision to leave the show in early 2018.

Before Emmerdale, Adam previously played the role of Donte Charles in school drama Waterloo Road between 2006-2009.

Tiffany Butcher - Maisie Smith

Tiffany Butcher was cute as a button when she first arrived on EastEnders, with a streak of mischief that any smart Walford resident could spot a mile off. Nowadays the talented Maisie Smith looks VERY grown up (we want her hair!), and is still very keen to pursue an acting career. Speaking about what she learned from her role on the soap, she said: "Perhaps my most useful lesson has been that while this is an amazing experience, whether you are famous or not, directors can be quite strict, so you must listen all the time and be punctual....Working to such a tight schedule can also mean very long days and I do get tired – but I still can't wait to go back in the next time."
