An inspirational young man is being honoured in a new Disney book, thanks to his fundraising efforts for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Children's Charity.

Zac, 11, was born with a condition called Moebius Syndrome, which causes weakened facial muscles. As a result, doctors told Zac's mum that he would never be able to speak, or even smile.

Despite this, Zac went on to win a global speaking competition thanks to his speech about his experiences living with Moebius. He then donated all his winnings to GOSH Children's Charity, telling us he wanted to support and inspire children like him.

There will be a dedication to Zac before the story of Pocahontas

"They gave me something that I would never have dreamed of, a smile"

Four other children from across the country who have displayed extraordinary courage and kindness will also be honoured

Speaking about his fundraising efforts, and being featured in the new Disney book, Zac said:

"I want to be inspirational and through doing things like the talk I gave, I want to inspire other people, especially young people, to reach for their dreams and accomplish their dreams.

"I don't have any words to describe it. I feel happy and really grateful for everything. By raising that money for GOSH, I was hoping to help other children's lives and also the support their families.

"(GOSH is) very important to me, because they gave me something that I would never have dreamed of, a smile".

Fittingly, the new Disney storybook is called 'Tales of Courage and Kindness' with four other children from across the country also being honoured.
