The life of a 37-year-old mum who was stabbed to death in Primrose Hill last weekend - will be honoured with a candlelit vigil this evening.

Nicole Hurley has been described as a "devoted mother" - whose death has devastated the local area.

"Those children were, and are, the heart of this estate," says Brigitte Clements - who's helping to organise the vigil.

"They're just lovely, curious, bright. Us on the estate feel like their aunts and uncles," she continues.

The group's gathering on Broxwood Way at 7.30pm, before walking together to the top of Primrose Hill for a candlelit vigil.

"It's great we've got people to mourn with, to cry with, to go through all of this with," says Brigitte.

A fundraiser organised to cover Nicole's funeral costs and to support her children has nearly reached £40,000.
