Two teens charged over Peckham Rye murder

Two teenagers are appearing in court charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in Peckham Rye.

29 year old Kalabe Legesse was found with a serious stab wound after emergency services were called to Peckham Rye and Common at just after 8.20pm on the 30th December.

Despite the best efforts of emergency services he died at the scene.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of his death to be hemorrhage after sustaining a stab wound to the heart.

Nah'shun Thomas, age 19, from Bournemouth Road, and a 16 year old who can't be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with Kalabe's murder.

They are due to appear at Croydon Magistrates Court this morning.
