Three teenagers have been injured in a shooting in Orpington.

The Metropolitan Police were called alongside the London Ambulance Service to Otlinge Road last night, where an 18-year-old was found shot.

He was treated and taken to hospital whilst officers continued their enquiries, leading to the conclusion that the shooting took place in Yalding Grove.

There, two 14-year-old boys were found with shotgun wounds. They were also taken to hospital.

All three victims are not believed to have life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

Detective Inspector Raymond Sekalongo from Trident said: "“Tackling violent crime in London remains our absolute focus and reducing shootings is key to that. We understand that this incident will cause concern within the community. We want to reassure you that we are carrying out fast-time enquiries to ensure that any suspect is apprehended."

Enquiries are ongoing with a crime scene in place, as well as further officers in the area to listen to the concerns of locals.

Anyone with information is being urged to get in touch.
