The Queen's House at Tower of London renamed

The Queen's House at the Tower of London has been renamed the King's House following the proclamation of King Charles III.

His Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London announced on Twitter that the change had been made, sharing a video of a painter amending the building's name.

The structure opposite Tower Green is widely thought to have been built in around 1530 for Henry VIII's second wife, Anne Boleyn, who stayed there while awaiting her execution.

It is now the residence of the Tower of London Governor, which is currently Brigadier Andrew Jackson.
