Pensioner dies after being stabbed in Newham
A man's been arrested
A woman in her 80s has died after being stabbed in Manor Park in Newham.
Police were called just before 10am on Saturday 2nd April to reports a woman had been stabbed and been found critically injured at an address on Landseer Avenue.
Crews from London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance Service also attended the scene but she was pronounced dead.
The woman's family have been told and are being supported.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and police say they believe the pair were known to each other.
An investigation is continuing with anyone with information about what happened asked to call 101.
