Marble Arch Mound stripped

This is what the Marble Arch Mound currently looks like.

It is in the process of being dismantled after it closed for good at the start of 2022.

The £6million pound construction was widely criticised for going over budget. The original estimate for the build was £2million.

It was designed to bring people back to Central London and encourage them to visit the quieter end of Oxford Street. Nearly a quarter of a million people went to see it.
