Man dies in stabbing in south-west London

A man in his 20s has died in a stabbing on the border between Clapham and Battersea in south-west London.

Emergency services were called to at around 4.05am this morning (Sunday 29th September) to reports of a large group fighting with knives in Wandsworth Road.

Officers, London Ambulance Service and the London’s Air Ambulance attended. Three people were found at the scene suffering with stab wound injuries.

A man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene - and two other victims have been taken to hospital for treatment.

One was treated for injuries that were not deemed to be life threatening and we await for an update on the other victim’s condition.

At this early stage, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
