Man dies after being hit by car near Royal Oak tube station

Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

A 44 year-old man has died after being hit by a car near Royal Oak tube station last night.

Emergency services were called to Harrow Road, w2, shortly after 22.30hrs on Wednesday, 21 April, and found a 44-year-old man seriously injured.

Despite the efforts of emergency services at the scene, he died a short time later.

Hi next of kin have been informed.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

The driver of the car, a white Toyota Prius private hire vehicle, stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
