Man charged with murder after woman's body found in car in Hackney

Detectives believe the body belongs to 25-year-old Kennedi Westcarr-Sabaroche

A man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found in a car in Hackney.

Emergency services were called to Whiston Road at around 06:45BST on Saturday morning (April 06), where the woman was found unresponsive.

She was declared dead a short time later, and has now been named as 25-year-old Kennedi Westcarr-Sabaroche.

In an update, the Met Police said formal identification was yet to take place, but her family had been told.

A post-mortem examination has also been scheduled for Monday.

Gogoa Tape, 27, of Marsworth House E2 was arrested on Saturday (April 06) and charged the following day.
