Three brothers charged over stabbing of mum at Notting Hill Carnival

A man has been charged with attempted murder over the stabbing of a mother while she was with her young child at Notting Hill Carnival.

Shakiel Thibou, 20, and of Masbo Road, W12, was arrested at an address in Hammersmith and Fulham on Tuesday (August 27), two days after the stabbing.

He has been charged with attempted murder, violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Two other men, his brothers, have also been charged in relation to the incident.

Sheldon Thibou, 24 of Star Road, W12 has been charged with violent disorder, possession of a stun gun and assaulting an emergency worker.

Shaeim Thibou, 22 of Charleville Road, W14 has been charged with violent disorder and assaulting an emergency worker.

The 32-year-old woman remains in a critical condition in hospital.
