Man charged over Streatham bus stabbing

35 year old is charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife.

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing on a Route 50 bus.

35 year old Monior Saleh of Verran Road in SW12 was is accused of attempted murder and possession of a knife.

Police were called to Streatham High Road on Wednesday afternoon following reports that a man had been stabbed on a bus.

A man in his 50s - a passenger on the bus - was found with stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

His condition has been assessed as non-life threatening.

Salah was remanded in custody to appear at Bexley Magistrates' Court on Friday, December 23rd.
