She leads a female-focused line-up that includes Mercury Prize-nominated artist PinkPantheress, Swedish pop star Zara Larsson, US singer Audrey Hobert and London-based artist Rose Gray.

She joins previously announced headliners Deftones, who will play on August 23, and US rapper Tyler The Creator, who will perform on August 28 and 29.

The singer, real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor, released her first studio album in almost four years in June.

On the day of the album's release she surprised fans with a secret set at Glastonbury Festival, where she performed Virgin in full.

The chart-topping record is her fourth studio album. Her previous albums, Pure Heroine (2013), Melodrama (2017) and Solar Power (2021) all reached the top 10 in the UK albums chart.

The singer is best known for songs such as Green Light, Solar Power and her 2013 single Royals, which reached number one in the UK singles chart.

Lorde will perform at Victoria Park, east London, on August 22 2026.

Tickets go on general sale on Thursday November 20.
