Former BBC presenter Huw Edwards pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children

The 62-year-old is alleged to have committed these offences between December 2020 and April 2022.

He was swarmed by photographers as he arrived at Westminster Crown Court and refused to answer any questions.

Edwards will be sentenced in September

One photographer's camera was smashed to pieces in the melee as the broadcaster arrived.

The former BBC presenter was flanked by eight police officers as he arrived with a blank expression on his face.

He arrived wearing black sunglasses, a blue tie, white shirt and black suit and there was a small protest outside of court as he made his way inside.

He will be sentenced on the 16th of September.
