Police name suspect wanted in connection with murder of Harshita Brella

Northamptonshire Police have named a suspect in connection with the murder of Harshita Brella.
The 24-year-old from Corby was found dead in a car boot in the London suburb of Ilford on Thursday morning (November 14th).
A post-mortem on Harshita's body on Friday (November 15th) found that Harshita had been murdered.
This came following a missing person's investigation was launched after officers were deployed to her home on Skegness Walk in Corby.
Following on from her discovery, police have been investigating her murder and have now named her husband Pankaj Lamba as the main suspect.
Releasing a statement on Sunday (November 17th), Paul Cash from Northamptonshire Police said: "Our inquiries lead us to suspect that Harshita was murdered in Northamptonshire earlier this month by her husband Pankaj Lamba.
"We suspect Lamba transported Harshita’s body from Northamptonshire to Ilford by car. We believe he has now fled the country."
The force also released two photos of Pankaj in order to alert the public to his appearance.
Cash added that over 60 different detectives are now working on the case and are looking into CCTV and ANPR in order to track his movements after he fled.
He went on to say that following the murder, there is no wider risk or threat to public safety, and has urged anyone who may have any information that could help to get in touch.
"I urge anyone listening to or reading this statement, that if you saw anything suspicious in the past week or have any information, no matter how small, please contact us," he said.
"We would always rather receive well-meaning information that turns out to be nothing as opposed to not receiving it all."
