Father and two sons guilty of fatal stabbing on north-west London estate
The victim, Devon Jensen-Wallace was attacked on an estate in Stonebridge, last June
A father and his two sons have been found guilty of killing a 25-year-old man who was chased and stabbed while visiting a friend in his old neighbourhood.
The victim, Devon Jensen-Wallace was attacked on an estate in Stonebridge, north-west London, last June 1, the Old Bailey heard.
Following a trial, Jamal Grant, 31, and his father Elvis Grant, 51, were found guilty of murder and perverting the course of justice.
Jamal Grant's brother, Lamar Grant, 25, was cleared of murder but found guilty of manslaughter and perverting the course of justice
The court had heard there was a history between the victim and Jamal Grant over an incident in 2018.
The following year, Mr Jensen-Wallace moved away but on the day of the killing he had returned to the estate where the defendants lived to visit a friend.
Prosecutor Brian O'Neill KC had said: "Plainly, the Grants became aware of this, in fact they may have seen Devon walking through the estate very shortly before the attack upon him."
The defendants concealed their appearances and armed themselves before they left home and went just across the road to where the victim was hanging out with his friends, the court was told.
Mr O'Neill said: "Devon was stabbed once. He ran off, as did his friends, being chased by two of the Grants, Jamal and Elvis, before he collapsed and bled to death."
The defendants were found guilty of the offences by a majority and were remanded into custody to be sentenced on August 8.
