Fatal collision in Ealing

A woman has died after two cars crashed earlier this morning.

A woman has died after a Range Rover and a Tesla crashed on the A40 near Royal Underground Station in the early hours of this morning (22 August).

Police and paramedics were called at 3.48am and found the Range Rover had left the road and gone onto the railway line.

Three other people from both vehicles, were treated for injuries.

Both the A40 and the Piccadilly Line have been closed and Ealing Police have tweeted to say both are likely to remain so for a significant period of time.

Commuters are being urged to avoid the area and to find alternative routes.
