12 year old boy stabbed in east London

The boy was treated in Plaistow in Newham last night.

A boy believed to be aged 12 has been stabbed in east London.

Officers were called at 8.17pm on Tuesday to Brook's Road in Plaistow in Newham on Tuesday August 30th after reports of a stabbing.

A boy was found with a stab wound at the scene.

A Metropolitan police spokesperson said: "He was treated at the scene; we await an assessment of his condition.

"One male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and another for affray."

Crime scenes are in place and police are investigating.
