Boy in hospital after collision outside tube station
A boy has been knocked down outside a tube station in south London
The collision with the car happened just before 8am this morning on Clapham Road
The 13 year old has been taken to hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition.
In a statement the Met Police said;
"Officers were called at 07:43hrs on Monday, 27 March t near Stockwell Station, Clapham Road, SW9.
A pedestrian, believed to be a boy aged around 13, had been in a collision with a car.
London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance have attended the scene.
The boy has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The boy's next of kin have been informed.
Local road closures are in place while emergency services deal."
In a statement the London Ambulance Service said:
"“We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
