Body found in Newham murder manhunt
Police had been looking for 38 year old Miguel Angel Alvarez Florentino
A body pulled from a river in east London on Friday is believed to be a man police had been looking to speak to about the murder of a woman in Newham.
53 year old Yolanda Saldana Feliz was stabbed to death earlier this month.
A murder investigation started after Yolanda and a 30 year old woman were found with stab wounds in the early hours of October 23rd.
The 30 year old victim's injuries were not life threatening.
The hunt for 38 year old Miguel Angel Alvarez Florentino - who was known to the victims began shortly afterwards.
On Friday night - a man's body was spotted by officers near Blaker Road in Newham - it's believed to be Miguel.
Formal identification hasn't taken place yet, but his family have been told.

“I know that people in Newham and in particular those in the Stratford area will be shocked and concerned by this tragic incident. I share their concern, and can assure them that specialist detectives are working at pace to identify and arrest whoever was responsible.
“Local officers will be patrolling the area, and I urge anyone with information or concerns to speak with those officers. They are there to protect and support you.”
