Police have made more than 100 arrests after two days of protests from environmental groups across London.

Animal Rebellion members threw paint over hunting shops, poured milk out in supermarkets and marched through the city to demand a plant based future.

It comes as a man and woman accused of stealing milk and damaging two shops are due in court on Monday.

Stephen Bone, 40, of Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, and Sofia Fernandes Pontes, 26, of Copenhagen Street, Islington, north London, were both charged in the early hours of Sunday with two counts of criminal damage and two counts of theft.

They were both arrested in Green Park on Saturday.

Bone remains in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Fernandes Pontes was bailed and will appear at the same court on November 7.

Meanwhile activists from Just Stop Oil blocked roads as part of action against the government's new fossil fuel plans.
