Wrexham fans say what Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have done for their club "means everything" as they celebrated promotion to the English Football League.

The A-listers were joined on board the open top bus which travelled through the city by both the men and women's football teams as supporters watched on - clapping, blowing horns and waving.

Thousands were in the city to see the open top bus parade last night - some from as far away as New Zealand and America.

Wrexham secured automatic promotion from the National League to League Two last month after a 3-1 win over Boreham Wood at The Racecourse.

It means from next season they'll play alongside fellow Welsh side Newport County.
