Woman injured in city centre assault
A woman has suffered head injuries in an assault in Liverpool city centre.
A woman has suffered head injuries in an assault in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to Vernon Street just before 4am. The 38 year old was taken to hospital where she continues to be treated for injuries that aren't thought to be life threatening.
Police say they're looking at CCTV footage from the area, and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
