Reports of money going missing emerged on social media over the last 24 hours
Ahead of the Champions League final, Liverpool fans are being warned to be on their guard for ticket scams, as we're hearing dozens fear they've lost thousands of pounds.
Around 20,000 seats have been allocated to reds supporters for the showdown with Real Madrid, leaving thousands desperate for a ticket to the Stade De France .
Matty spent more than a grand on his, from an account on Twitter, he believed to be legit.
"It's left me feeling disheartened, gutted, I haven't slept to be honest with you. I'm heartbroken.
"If you're even thinking about doing it I wouldn't. Unless you genuinely know the person and they've got a spare, I wouldn't be buying a ticket online. It's a very expensive lesson to learn.
"Some people have bought nineteen tickets, some people have bought five tickets, one ticket.
"Just in our group there's a hundred thousand pound worth of tickets and I know there's eighteen people in another group, their total is sixty grand.
There's just more and more people all of the time. Just in that group there's a hundred and sixty grand that's gone missing".
Merseyside Police have issued an appeal urging fans to be vigilant of potential scammers.
