Merseyside Police is appealing for the public's help to trace a 26-year-old man from Old Swan who is wanted on a recall to prison. Craig Taylor is wanted by officers after he failed to comply with his license release conditions. Taylor was originally handed a 5 year 4 month prison sentence for an aggravated burglary offence in St Helens in 2010. During the offence, a number of males entered a property and threatened children with swords, knives and hammers before stealing property. Taylor was released but has failed to abide by strict licence conditions and had his licence revoked on 12 February. Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find him but he remains outstanding. Taylor is described as white, around 5ft 6in tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone who has seen Taylor, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call officers on 0151 7775466 or on 101. People with information can also contact Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 111.
