You could become a life saver and help little Finn.

We held a stem cell donor drive to try and find a match for 7-year-old Finn McEwen from Bootle who desperately needs a bone marrow transplant.

When we spoke to his Mum Carole last month she told us he'd been diagnosed with a rare bone marrow condition and is at risk of getting leukaemia if he doesn't get a match in the next few weeks.

Since then there have been loads of events across Merseyside to get people signing up to the register, but so far there hasn't been anyone who can provide a match for Finn.

His Mum Carole say it's now more important than ever to find him a suitable donor;

''Since we last spoke he's not been too well, he's had some infections and his levels have dropped. So, whilst he's still relatively well, we can see that he's not going to stay that well for the long term so we're really looking for this donor as soon as possible.''

Hundreds of people visited the tower to get signed up as donors.

This will then be sent off to register your information on the stem cell database where you could provide a match for Finn or someone else in need of a bone marrow transplant.

Potential donors need to be aged between 17 and 55.

Just 3% of donors on the register end up being a match for someone. To find out what happens if you get the call click here.

Come on Liverpool let's #FindFinnAMatch!

Our reporter Roisin Hastie has had her swab taken to find out if she's a match for Finn. Listen to what happened below.
