A 15-year-old boy's been taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds. Detectives have cordoned off an area in West Derby.

A 15-year-old boy's been taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds. Officers were called to Langley Close in Croxteth just before 3pm, to reports a 15-year-old male had been injured.

He has been taken to Alder Hey Hospital and his condition is described as stable. The knife wound to his chest isn't life threatening. Police are searching through CCTV as they investigate.
