The family of 27 year old Tony Lawson, who was killed in an road traffic accident on the A5 Betws-Y-Coed on the 9th of July, have paid tribute to him.

In a statement, they say "Tony was a humble, kind, gentle and loving person.

"He will be sadly missed by all that he touched in his short life. He was a wonderful son to Tina and Steve, and a loving brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and fiancé. He was to be married less than three weeks before his untimely passing to his ever adoring partner, Danielle.

"Tony was raised in Skelmersdale but spent the last four years living in Wallasey with Danielle. He worked at a supermarket in Birkenhead, where he was highly thought of by all of his co-workers.

"He was a person who was always willing to help whenever he could. He loved to ride his motorbike and died doing what he loved. It was a beautiful day in a beautiful place but will forever remain a dark day in our memory. Rest in peace Tony."

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact North Wales Police.
