Teenager seriously hurt in Crosby hit-and-run

Police are searching for the vehicle involved

An investigation is underway following a hit-and-run in Crosby which left a 19-year-old man seriously injured.

At around 00:10am on Monday 22nd January, a blue Volvo S60 struck the teenager on Liverpool Road before leaving the scene.

The pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries.

The car involved failed to stop at the scene of the collision, Merseyside Police said.

Officers are now trying to find the vehicle. It is believed it was parked up in the Crosby/Waterloo area from Monday 22nd January through to Thursday 25th January.

The vehicle had damage to the passenger side mirror and front passenger side grill. It may also have had its number plates removed after the collision.
