Teenager held on suspicion of attempted murder after double shooting in Netherton

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a double shooting in Netherton

Emergency services were called at around 4.20pm on May 8th to reports two men had been shot near the canal at Harrops Croft.

A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old man had to be treated for injuries consistent with a firearms discharge.

At time the 23-year-old suffered serious injuries.

Police say a 19 year old from Netherton is currently being questioned by detectives
