Teen in hospital after police vehicle crash

The 13 year old was on an e-bike when it happened in Dovecot

A 13-year-old boy is in hospital with serious leg injuries, after a crash involving a police vehicle yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 8 November).

Merseyside Police say three bikes were riding towards the vehicle on Southdean Road in Dovecot, at around 3.50pm when one of them was involved in a collision.

An investigation's being carried out and officers are urging anyone who saw the incident, or who has dashcam footage, to come forward.
