Super Surprise for Wirral Boy
10-year-old Batman fan James Campbell had no idea what was about to happen...

Last month, filming for the new Batman movie eventually took place in Liverpool around the iconic St George's Plateau and the Liver Building, after previously being delayed twice because of the coronavirus pandemic.
10 year old James from the Wirral has autism and is a huge fan of the Caped Crusader, to the point where he watched the same Batman film every night for two years!
James' parents took him to the set in Liverpool every day, for the whole time production crews were here, in the hope that he might be able to give Batman actor Robert Pattinson a picture he'd drawn for him.
With a tight 'social bubble' in place for filming, the team explained it wouldn't be possible for James to hand over the drawing. That's when his parent Nicola and Darren tweeted us...
The Radio City news team ran James' story and our tweets got shared hundreds of times.
It was shared enough for Robert Pattinson's team to notice.
They contacted us saying Robert had seen James' picture and he wanted to send him some goodies in the post, and this week they arrived, along with a signed card.
James' Dad, Darren said:
"He's always had a really hard life. He's not one for smiling, he doesn't like happiness, he'll tell you that himself. So to see him react and be so happy just melted our hearts. His mum was in tears, it was just so amazing the fact that he'd actually got something that he really wanted. It was just so nice to see that smile on his face.
"What we achieved is beyond our wildest dreams. It was literally just trying to get a little autistic boy who'd drawn a picture for Batman to get it to him, that's literally all it was. What we've achieved is well beyond what we imagined.
"Thank you so much, you've made James' entire life, not just his year. Everyone from yourselves (Radio City), the production team, everyone to Robert Pattinson I'm just so grateful for what you've all done. Thank you so much we really appreciate it."
