Four people have been taken to hospital for treatment following a serious crash in Liscard.

Police were called at around 8.15pm on Saturday 29th January to reports of a crash involving a blue BMW and grey Vauxhall Zafira at the junction of Rolleston Drive and Malpas Road.

A passenger in the BMW was taken to hospital with serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the car was also taken to hospital, but with minor injuries.

Two people in the Vauxhall suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and are also in hospital.

Officers are currently continuing CCTV and witness enquiries in the area and ask for anyone with information to come forward.

Sergeant Simon Duffy of Roads Policing Unit said: “We are in the early stages of an investigation into a road traffic collision that happened last night and has left three men seriously injured in hospital.

“If you witnessed the collision on the junction of Rolleston Drive and Malpas Road or were driving past at the time and have any dashcam or CCTV footage, please review it and get in touch. Any information you hold could be vital to our enquiries.”
