More scramblers seized by police
Police have seized two more scrambler bikes as their summer crackdown continues
Merseyside Police has recovered two further off-road bikes and arrested a youth over the weekend as Operation Brookdale continues. On Saturday, 11 June, a youth was sighted riding a scrambler bike in the area of Moss Lane, Bootle. Officers found the bike abandoned a short time later and arrested a 17-year-old boy from Bootle on suspicion of dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle and road traffic offences. He has been bailed pending further enquiries. Last night, a further suspected stolen scrambler bike was seized from Torrington Drive in Halewood and enquiries are ongoing to establish the origins of this bike.
